Established 2001.
Dissolved 2005.
Chair
Aldona Jonaitis, USA; in collaboration with Marta C. Lourenço, Portugal.
2005, the Chair of the “Ethics” Group, Aldona Jonaitis, proposed to dissolve the Ethics Committee: “The Committee was established in large part to contribute to the revised ICOM Code of Ethics. That immediate mission has been accomplished. Should an ethical issue arise, the Board could assemble an Ethics task force to address it. Such a task force would include members from the current Ethics Committee, specifically Marta C. Lourenço, Steven de Clercq, and Aldona Jonaitis.”
