Construyendo puentes. Museos y colecciones universitarias en España y América Latina

Construyendo puentes es una iniciativa internacional que busca dar voz y visibilidad a los museos y colecciones universitarias de habla hispana, especialmente aquellos de menor escala que a menudo quedan al margen de las redes globales. Nacido de una colaboración entre profesionales de Colombia y España, el proyecto promueve una comunidad más inclusiva, accesible y conectada.

Este espacio ofrece recursos en español especialmente pensados para quienes gestionan el patrimonio universitario: documentos útiles sobre catalogación y normativas, ejemplos de buenas prácticas, entrevistas con especialistas, exposiciones inspiradoras y mucho más.

Te invitamos a sumar tus propuestas, inquietudes o experiencias. Entre todos construimos un foro vivo y colaborativo, donde compartir saberes, apoyarnos mutuamente y fortalecer juntos el valor del patrimonio universitario en la comunidad de habla hispana.

Este será un espacio vivo para compartir recursos, experiencias e ideas sobre museos y colecciones universitarias en el mundo hispanohablante.

Building Bridges. University museums and collections in Spain and Latin America

Building Bridges is an international initiative that aims to give voice and visibility to university museums and collections in the Spanish-speaking world—especially smaller institutions that often find themselves excluded from global networks. Born from a collaboration between professionals in Colombia and Spain, the project promotes a more inclusive, accessible, and connected community.

This space offers resources in Spanish tailored for those who work with university heritage: useful documents on cataloguing and institutional regulations, examples of best practices, interviews with experts, inspiring exhibitions, and much more.

We invite you to share your proposals, questions, and experiences. Together, we are building a living, collaborative forum where knowledge is exchanged, support is mutual, and the value of university heritage is strengthened across the Spanish-speaking community.

This will be a dynamic space to share resources, experiences, and ideas about university museums and collections in the Spanish-speaking world.
