The Museum for all people: Art, Accessibility and Social Inclusion

The MUSACCES Consortium (UCM-UNED-UAM) in the frame of its I+D activities in a more inclusive museology, invites the sienctific community to submit contributions, as oral communications or posters, to the International Conference “The Museum for all people: Art, Accessibility and Social Inclusion” which will be held in Madrid between 2nd-5th April 2017. It aims to create a space for dialogue and interdisciplinary meeting between museum managers, teachers, researchers, artists, students and other professionals from the world of culture to discuss the extension of the art museum to all people, regardless of its diversity. 

Keynote Speakers: Hans-Martin Hinz (ex president, ICOM), Charles Robert Saumarez Smith (ex director, National Gallery), James Bradburne (Director, Pinacoteca di Breda), Maria Gravari-Barbas (UNESCO Heritage), Nicole Gesché-Koning (Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles / ICOM), Horst Bredekamp (Humboldt University of Berlin), José Manuel Cruz Valdovinos (UCM), Antonella Poce (Università Roma Tre), Tim Coughlan (Open University), Alice Semedo (Universidade do Porto), Lola Álvarez (Universidad de Granada), Eloísa Pérez Santos (UCM y Ministerio de Cultura), Encarna Lago (Red de Museos de Lugo), Hugues Dreysse (Université de Strasbourg), Juan M. Monterroso (USC), Federico Castro and Victoria Díaz (UC3M).
