University Museums Training Weeks (UMTWs)

University Museums Training Weeks (UMTWs) is a professional development program resulting from a partnership between UMAC and the Qian Xuesen Library & Museum, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (QLM-SJTU).

UMTWs occur every year, combining lectures, workshops and field visits. They are open to university museum professionals and researchers from Asia, particularly China.

The UMTW program is coordinated by a Joint Committee, which includes: Andrew Simpson (UMAC), Barbara Rothermel (UMAC),  Shanshan Zhang (QLM-SJTU) and Yankun Gao (QLM-SJTU), with the support of Wenjia Qiu (QLM-SJTU).
